Experience
the Best of Uganda's Safaris

This is one of the most sought after safari activities in Uganda.
You get the chance to trek and follow the gorillas first hand with
experienced and knowledgeable game rangers. This Safari is tough
and involves mountain climbing but is very rewarding when you finally
meet face to face with the big primates.
DAY 1
You are picked up from your hotel. You will later be driven in comfortable
and secure touring vehicles to Kabale. It is here that you will
then be taken to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to have a first
hand affair with the big primates. Besides being a habitat for the
gorillas, this park is also home to many species of different beautiful
birds. Some of them include the Albertan rift endemics, the African
green Broadbill, Bar Tailed Trogon and other forest species. Your
tour will move to Munyaga Waterfalls and it is here that you will
get an opportunity to see other various primates. You will see the
gray cheeked Mangabey blue monkeys among others. You will later
retire in Buhoma Homestead or the Gorilla Forest Camp.
DAY 2
This is the day that you will go trekking the big primates. After
being briefed by your guides on this tough adventure, you take with
you lunch and the necessary gear to track the Mountain Gorillas
in the jungle. This process can take anywhere between a few hours
and the whole day depending on the touring group. The guides do
a good job to describe the surroundings and the lifestyle of the
animals. After this tour, in the evening you can relax around a
campfire, take walks or retire to the lodge. You will later retire
in Buhoma Homestead or the Gorilla Forest Camp.
DAY 3
Have an early morning breakfast before you leave Bwindi Impenetrable
National park for the Kigezi highlands (The Switzerland of Africa).
From here, regroup at the camp before leaving for Kampala, having
lunch along the way. Arrive in the evening. Overnight at your Hotel.
