CULTURAL TOURISM
Cultural Tourism in Uganda started as a program to help rural communities
enjoy the benefit of tourism section in which they are apart of.The
main goal is that rural communities should directly benefit from
tourists who visit areas. Cultural tourism allows local people such
as Buganda, Bumyoro, Ankole, Toro, Batwa, Karamojong to offer tours
that show their culture, their sacred places of worship, economic
activities, for example, farming, pastoralism and fishing.

of Attractions Cultural Tourism;
Buganda
* ~ Buganda king- Important site of Buganda kabaka’s, kasubi
tombs on Nabulagala Hill, Kabaka’s lake local canoes, viewing
birds.
* ~ Naggalabi Buddo where the kabaka,s are crowned from.
*~Mweso Buganda men play at Kasubi tomb or outskirts of Kampala.
Northeast of Kampala
* ~Ssezibwa falls –an area of outstanding beauty where the
kabaka,s retreated for spiritual healing and revival.
* ~ Bird-watching walks at the foot of the fall, water falls through
lush green valleys
Bagisu ~Male circumcision cdremonies take place
ever other year while female circumcisin is still practised by the
sable people.
Pallia ~Kakon rock painting generally accredited
to the hunter gatheres who lived in area more than 2000 years ago.
Bwindi ~there are the Batwa and Bambuti Pygmy's
relies of the hunter gatherer cultures.
